The Association of Friends of The Haifa Museum
Friends Association Chairperson : Judith Hoffmann
The Association of Friends of the Haifa Museums was initiated as a non profit organization on March 20, 1983, by a group of enthusiastic Haifa citizens, wishing to help establish, organize and develop the museums and enhance art and culture in Haifa.
In previous years the Association organized lectures, exhibition tours and meetings with artists, alongside with money raising for the museums.
Lately, in order to further activities on behalf of the Association and leverage its reputation within the public, as well as within private corporations, new members have joined its Board of Directors on a voluntary basis, and combine their love to art and culture with contribution to the community.
The Association Vision is to locate the museums, art and culture in a central status among Haifa citizens.
The Association aims at enhancing public interest in the museums activities, engaging with varied art and culture activities among existing and potential crowds, maintaining strong relationship with the museums and supporting their work.
Funds are raised through donators and through the sale of tickets for various Association activities and a gala events, and through annual membership fees.
